Her yoga classes create a feeling of joyful presence, weaving the foundation of structure and alignment with an infusion of dynamic strengthening sequences and creative expression, emphasizing pranayama (breathing techniques), the use of the bandhas (energy channels), the cultivation of inner stillness and a state of ease throughout the practice.

Laura is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT) and Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher (RPYT) with Yoga Alliance, and has been teaching since 2007. She is an artist, dancer, Yoga instructor, Embodied Somatic Movement facilitator, Intuitive Coach, and Medicine Woman.

Born in Cuba, Laura trained in classical ballet and danced professionally for 20 years internationally before starting to teach Vinyasa Yoga. After opening her own studio and serving as an Adjunct Professor of Yoga for George Mason University for two years, Laura trained and mentored dozens of students who have since become successful yoga teachers.

Whether leading classes, workshops, healing circles, transformational retreats, or private sessions, she guides her students to tap into their inner wisdom and work with a holistic approach --harmonizing breath, body, mind, heart, and spirit—that they can take off the mat into their day-to-day lives.
